Buffalo Chicken Ring for the Superbowl

I thought this would be a nice variation to the normal buffalo chicken dip that everyone has made and would not be too difficult either, just a few ingredients that would not be found in the average kitchen, mainly the canned chicken. However, cooked chicken breasts could easily be substituted instead.

Below are the ingredient I used, but any vegetable such as celery could have been used. I wanted to make this the day before Superbowl Sunday to make sure I was not rushed in making it or waiting for it to cool. Hopefully you'll enjoy it too.

First I opened the crescent rolls and laid them out in a circular pattern on a cooking sheet. As you can see below I wasn't very careful about not ripping them, but I am sure it will taste fine anyway.

I diced the green pepper into small little squares before adding it to the chicken in a small mixing bowl.

A picture of the green pepper being incorporated into the chicken mix.

The cream cheese is being added which takes a few minutes of stirring to get the consistency to a nice creamy texture. It doesn't have to be completely creamy at this stage as there is more stirring involved when you add your hot sauce and spicy ranch dressing.

I added around 15 teaspoons of Franks Red Hot and 8 of the spicy ranch dressing; however, everyone will want to added a different amount. I added some, stirred it and tasted it. Then added more hot sauce if desired.

Once the mixture is creamy and spicy to your liking spoon onto the crescent rolls in a nice ring.  Just try to make the ring symmetrical so each has approximately the same amount of filling.

At this stage half of the rolls are folded over.

Now all the rolls are folded over and ready to be baked at 350F for 20 minutes.

After baking waiting for it to cool before moving to make sure it stays together.

Recipe:
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients, except crescent rolls, in a mixing bowl and mix until creamy. Add hot sauce and ranch to your liking. Spoon into the circle of flat crescent rolls and fold the crescent rolls over. Bake for 20 minutes until browned. Cool. Enjoy.

8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 Green Pepper
2 cans of chicken
Franks Red Hot to taste
Ranch to taste
2 tubes of crescent rolls
