Baked Chicken Wings / Homemade Fries

I've had these sitting in the freezer for a while and wanted to use them before they completely broke down due to freezer burn. I though this recipe was also healthier for me then deep frying them. This recipe has only about 10 minutes of prep time to have homemade, fresh wings at home.

Ingredients:

  • 9 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 9 Garlic Cloves (Soften by cooking with drizzle of oil at 325F for 25 mins)
  • 6 Teaspoons of Chili Powder
  • 3 Teaspoons of Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 30 chicken wings
Directions:
Add all ingredients in bowl, cover wing in layer of sauce and place on pan. Bake at 375F for 1 hour.

Thoughts:
Next time I make these I will definitively be adding more spice to make them hotter. The original recipe was good though was missing a certain kick. Perhaps adding Red Hot or Tabasco sauce would improve the overall recipe.

All needed ingredients for the recipe.

Garlic in a glass pyrex pan drizzled with olive oil.

Wings after being coated with the sauce.

For lots of different meals I cook baked french fries for a healthier alternative to fried french fries. It is quite easy. I slice potatoes into wedges, sprinkle on old bay spice and bake at 400F for 45-55 minutes. There isn't even a need to flip them.
