French Toast

Being the weekend I feel that having a nice breakfast is always in order. French toast is something that is easy to make and much nicer than most of the normal breakfast foods out there.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly until the mixtures is nice and frothy.

The finalized mixture should look like this.

Heat up you pan or griddle. Once hot, soak each side of the bread in the egg mixture. I recommend using some thick sliced, slightly stale bread. For this recipe I am using my, white sandwich bread which can be found following this LINK.

After one side is soaked flip over the bread and allow it to soak the egg mixture in. Once coated, place on griddle and cook.

Enjoy with syrup and butter.

Ingredients

3 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
a dash of nutmeg
thick, sliced bread
