Beef Roast

I am a huge fan of crock pot recipes due to the ease and low hands on time. Its just nice to throw some ingredients together on the way out and have a delicious meal when you get back.


Place the roast in the crock pot. And pour a cup of water over the roast.


Pour the salad dressing packets and the gravy packet over the meat. I tried to evenly layer each one.


Turn to low and cook for 7 - 9 hours. This picture is the steak part way through cooking.

One slice of the meat cut off. As with many crock pot recipes, the meat is so tender it is hard to cut into a single slice.


Ingredients

4-5 pound meat roast
1 packet of Italian dressing mix
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
1 packet of gravy mix
1 cup of water
